And everyone else. The first group a lot of fun, and who doesn’t need more fun in their life these days? So join the fun Willamette Valley Pinot fans by joining winegrower Stephen Hagen at La Cote d’Or on Friday, November 14 and become part of the Antiquum Farm story, too! What happens when you abandon your attempt to become a Hollywood star, come back to the family home in Oregon, plant Pinot Noir and Gris, and then turn lose sheep, chickens, geese, goats and – most dramatically – Kune Kune pigs on your vineyard? If you’re Stephen, some really great wine emerges! And it keeps emerging as it ages in bottle, as you’ll taste for yourself when we pair two 2021 Pinot Noirs with Chef Jacques’s dishes created just for this meal and each wine. Here’s the menu: Alaskan turbot Seared sea scallop, Camembert risotto, Grilled Pork tenderloin, smoked bacon red wine tomato bell pepper sauce, Beef cheeks braised Burgundy style Pineapple Tatin. Gateau Breton, coconut ice cream The entire meal is pretty genius – which is normal for Chef’s wine dinners. But the beef cheeks with 2021 Luxuria is going to be an astonishingly luxurious match! La Cote d’Or Restaurant is located at 6876 Langston Blvd, Arlington, VA 22213, just off Rt. 66 and within walking distance of the East Falls Church Metro station. Parking is available next to the restaurant in the motel lot (ignore the signs – you can park anywhere!). Dress is casual but the evening will be serious fun.
