Although they don't say more than "California white," we think the base here has some Roussanne in it giving this a super luxurious texture and mouthfeel.  With saffron, Meyer lemon, rose petals, cardamom, chamomile, fresh tarragon, and cinnamon botanicals, it's especially savory and spicy with a fine, bracing, bitterness at the end. Try as "Summer in Jerz" with Fino sherry, tonic and a splash of cardamon bitters over ice.
