When Mike and Anne Dashe decided to open their Zinfandel-focused winery in 1996, they went where anyone would - to a warehouse in Oakland's Jack London Square! But there and in their current home on an old Naval Air Station in Alameda, the somehow manage to bottle the essence of some of California's finest old-vine sites up and down the North Coast. And if the initial setting was a bit "industrial," the winemaking has always been anything but - Dashe wines are handcrafted, artisanal, site-specific, and very, very, good.

As you can taste for yourself when you come by for a 30 minute tasting with Mike himself on Thursday, April 17 from 5-7:30pm. Here's what we'll be tasting:
