Sweet Wine Festival Featuring Ch d'Yquem 2014!

We have a present for you – the chance to taste the 2014 vintage of the world’s most famed and important dessert wine, Ch d’Yquem Sauternes.  For free.  Merry Christmas!

Ch d’Yquem 2014 is a gem and entering its very, very, long drinking window.  But at $300ish for a half bottle, perhaps not your everyday sweet treat.  No worries – we’ll have a total of 10 sweet selections open from around the world.  A taste of Hungary’s Tokaji, a sip of slightly obscure (if very delicious) Carcavelos from Portugal and Cassis and Rivesaults (vintage 1958!) from France will expand your sweet wine palate.

And it wouldn’t be a sweet wine festival without Maynard’s Ports!  Instead of the 40 year Tawny this time, we’ll be sharing two Colheitas (vintage dated Tawny).  Here’s the full line-up:
