Description of Tasting:

RSVP now for one of five free tasting sessions and get to know the tiny production wines of Napa’s Crosby Roamann and owner/founder, Sean McBride.  You’ll be getting to know wines with “Napa boutique winery” quality and character. Offered at prices we can all actually afford!

The wines are delicious and what I’d call “honest” California wines. Farming is sustainable, in conversion or fully organic depending on the vineyard. The Pinots and Chards come from cooler sites where fruit ripens to full flavor without heaviness. The Cabernet is from Saint Helena and stays fresh and bright. And winemaking is “minimal intervention,” with no added yeasts and long oak aging with thoughtful amounts of new wood.

The only problem we’ve found with the wines is getting them!  With total production of 2,000 cases or less, each wine is a bit of a handcrafted gem – like these wines Sean will be sharing:

Crosby Roamann Chardonnay Napa Valley 2022 (92 points Wine Enthusiast)
Crosby Roamann Petaluma Gap Pinot Noir 2022 (93 points WE)
Sean W. McBride Aisling Vineyard Pinot Noir 2019
Crosby Roamann Bon Ton Napa Valley Red 2021 (91 points WE)
Sean Walker McBride Satyrs Ridge Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon 2020 (93 points Decanter)

If this were the typical Napa vanity project, the prices would be pretty precious, too. But these are real people making wine for real people. So they’re priced at levels you won’t mind paying once you’ve tasted the quality here!

This is a no-fee, stand-up, event held around the upstairs tasting table in five 30 minute sessions from 5pm to 7:30pm on Thursday, February 27. To join us, just reserve a spot online today.  If you love delicious, characterful, California Chardonnay, Pinot Noir and Cabernet Sauvignon but have gotten tired of paying silly prices for it, this is a tasting you won’t want to miss!
