If we could waive a wand and make superstar Chassagne-Montrachet winemaker Sabastien Caillat appear at the tasting table to tell you about his wines, we would. But every time we’ve watched Sabastien be asked about coming to the US for a visit, he pretty much breaks out in a cold sweat. Being away from his vines for a week?  Not possible.

So Doug will do his best to channel Sabastien’s knowledge, intensity and passion, knowing well that his wines will do most of the work!  His Lamy-Caillat wines are now the hottest white Burgundies in the market, selling for hundreds, even thousands, of dollars.  His Lamy-Pillot wines remain some of the most outstanding values in all of Burgundy.  As you’ll see when you taste:

As usual there’s no charge for our Producer Spotlight tastings held upstairs around the tasting table, but we do ask that you reserve one of the five 30 minute sessions from 5pm to 7:30pm so we can make sure everyone has plenty of time to enjoy and appreciate the wines.  These are very special wines from a VERY special winemaker.  You’ll want to taste and know more!
