It’s cold, damp, and often cloudy in Burgundy during January. But in Burgundy’s restaurants, the food and wine never taste better and the value of company as warm as the crackling fire can’t be beat. As you can experience for yourself on January 14 or 15, 2026 – without even buying a plane ticket!

Join CBC, Chef Jacques Imperato and importer Ed Addiss of Wine Traditions this January for a feast of rich Burgundy classic dishes and elegant, perfectly paired, Burgundy wines for just $180 per person (plus Eventbrite fee) that includes tax, tip, and even free parking!

And there’s a small twist. Just to keep Chef sharp, we’re pairing the second and third courses with both a white Burgundy Chardonnay and red Pinot Noir.  As many of you know, Chef Jacquess creates his dishes for our wine dinners to complement and elevate each glass poured. Ed and I thought he was getting a little smug about it – so we threw him a new challenge!  Which I’m sure he’ll ace.  Here’s the menu:

Jambon Persillé
Tarragon, shallots, puffed pastry, onion compote, demi-glace
Domaine du Chétif Quart Crémant de Bourgogne NV

Rainbow Trout Sautéed
Shiitake mushroom, beurre Meunière, red wine spots,
Crêpe Vonassienne, beet, carrot & parsnip
Le Chai Duchet Mâcon-Villages 2022
Château de Garnerot Côtes Chalonnaise Rouge Terres de Garnerot 2022

Roasted Guinea Hen
Vermouth, sauerkraut, bacon, potato, chestnut, juniper jus
Domaine Patrick Maroiller Marsannay Blanc Les Étalles 2022
Domaine Patrick Maroiller Marsannay Rouge Grands Bandeaux 2022

Burgundy Tart
Délice de Bourgogne cheese, poached pear in red wine,
red currant sorbet, velvet sauce

Four courses, five wines, a certified great time, all for $180 per person including tax, tip and parking.  If that doesn’t warm up your January evening, we don’t know what will!

La Cote d’Or Restaurant is located at 6876 Langston Blvd, Arlington, VA 22213, just off Rt. 66 and within walking distance of the East Falls Church Metro station.  Parking is available next to the restaurant in the motel lot (ignore the signs – you can park anywhere!).  Dress is casual but the evening will be serious fun. Reserve your seats today for a dinner that will be as delicious as it is fun!
