Trebbiano d'Abruzzo is emphatically NOT the boring version found in Tuscany. Especially when grown with care and given a natural fermentation and raising like here. As Vinous says in the 93 point review, "seduces from the first tilt of the glass with a smoky reduction and minerally intense mix of crushed rocks, musky apricots and lemon zest. This is energetic and spry with zesty acidity, depths of citrus-inflected nectarine and a cascade of savory spice. Long and potent yet still spry, the 2022 leaves the palate reeling with tension as hints of almond paste and citrus fade on the finish."
For You If: You're in the mood for something delicious at first sip and that keeps giving more and more the longer you leave it open and/or pay attention to it.
Not For You If: You're looking for something crisp and easy - this is certainly mouthwatering and immediately delicious but pretty much demands that you pay attention to all the crazy stuff going on in your mouth!
