The Jeeper house style is to emphasize "wininess," and you'll find that here in a blend of 60% Chardonnay, 25% Pinot Noir and 15% Pinot Meaunier with barrel-aged reserve wines, four years on the lees and a mellow dosage. Lemon curd, white and yellow fruits and a nice dollop of brioche come together in a wine easy to drink and worth paying attention to. As Wine Spectator said of the last release, "An expressive Champagne, with orange peel acidity and a satiny mousse carrying flavors of baked yellow peach and dried white cherry, roasted nut, crystallized honey and smoke."
For You If: You're after that classic Champagne experience in a wine to drink before dinner, with food, or on New Year's Eve; you want a fizz that's plenty complex and interesting, but not demanding or austere.
Not For You If: You're after lots of sizzle and cut - this is very nicely balanced, generous and all the way dry while stying easy to enjoy.
