Lower ABV From vines growing on marine sedimentary soils overlooking the Salinas River, this juicy, fresh, Albarino with a firm nod towards Rias Baixas. One-third of the wine spent two days on the skins, adding an extra layer of texture and grip. Wine Enthusiast's 92 point review of the 2020 captures this nicely: "Bright aromas of crisp pear, white flowers and a lime-driven edge show on the nose of this bottling. There is firm tension to the palate, where rounded lime and pear flavors meet with a lightly flinty minerality, while sailing into the grippy finish."
For You If: You enjoy Albarino and are in the mood for one with an extra bit of texture without any extra weight.
Not For You If: You're looking for a really fruity white - the crunchy, just-ripe, fruit here is awash in salty minerality.
