Organic/Bio Just a short distance from Sancerre, Pouilly Fume showcases the smokier, gunflint, side of Sauvignon Blanc. Especially at this outstanding estate run by 8th generation winegrower Katia Mauroy-Gauliez working with some of the finest plots in the region. The 2022 edition is ridiculously delicious, showing real stony minerality to the grapefruit, white peach and nectarine fruit and a big burst of salty stone and gunflint on the mouthwatering finish. Blending fruit from warmer and cooler sites gives the wine both body and precision, making it feel simulations supple and very detailed and precise. Drink it.
