A delicious and ready to enjoy old-school Chateauneuf based on most of the permitted red grapes (and some white ones, too) with a bit of velvet to the texture. As Suckling describes it in his 94 point review, “A very herbal nose here with aromas of tiger balm, roasted meat, smoke and hinoki. Full-bodied with firm tannins. Ample and round with dark berries and herbs on the palate. Lots of character with velvety texture and a juicy, savory finish.” Drink or hold.
