Organic/Bio A terrific bistro Bojo, this is from an organic estate located in the southern part of the region where Emmanuel & Nadège Fellot grow grain, vegetables and cattle, too. This is a joyful, juicy, fresh Beaujolais done in the “traditional” way – whole clusters, partial carbonic – to deliver generous tart and sweet cherry fruit and a dash of sappy, herbal, complexity. Fun, easy, light and built to take a chill if you’re in the mood for that.
For You If: You’re looking for a light and juicy red to pair up with all kinds of savory foods or to just sip solo on a sunny afternoon.
Not For You If: You’re looking for the concentration and structure of Beaujolais from crus like Morgon and Moulin-a-Vent – this is a classic “Villages” wine, light and juicy and fresh.
