Thirty-year tawny's are, arguably, Porto's greatest treats. Wines chosen for 30 year bottlings are typically more energetic and fresh than those used in 20 year Tawnies, so they have all the nutty richness you want with an extra does of lift and grip. There's still an attractive core of bright red fruit here, but it's cloaked in flavors of caramel, sweet spice, toasted nuts and burnt orange peel.  The lifted, almost mouthwatering, finish keeps you coming back for more.
