Organic/Bio They say if you want to know how good a Barol/Barbaresco winemaker really is, taste their Dolcetto. A tricky grape to grow and make well and sure to sell for less than Barbera or Nebbiolo, only a meticulous and dedicated winegrower makes both fine Nebbiolo and outstanding Dolcetto.  Enrico Nada certainly does. This is Dolcetto at its most vibrant and juicy from a tiny plot in Diano d'Alba. Juicy blackberry fruit with whiffs of chocolate and lavender and super-fine tannin make this a classic match with a casual meal of cheese, salami and good bread. Only 300 cases made most years, so rare enough to grab right now.

For You If:   You're after the kind of juicy-direct fruit a good Beaujolais gives with a darker character and more Italian structure; a hearty red that can still take a light chill appeals.

Not For You If:  You want a "serious" wine for a complex meal - this is upfront fun; you like a kiss of oak spice and flavor - this is all tank.
