Not sure whether this is rose or "orange wine," but it's wild and wildly delicious! The Early Muscat, Riesling and Petit Blanc were pressed as whole clusters very slowly, extracting a touch of color. The Pinot Gris was destemmed, crushed and fermented dry on the skins for a bit more onion skin pink hue. The result is wonderfully dry, mouthfilling, and a touch exotic, with huge aromas/flavors of dry peach, mango, sweet spice and orange blossom. As Galloni notes, perhaps not for everyone (although not as tropical as he suggests), but balanced, pure and boatloads of fun for the rest of us.
