Lower ABV  An exceptional producer who has made it his duty to make Italian white wines, Eugenio Gatti has taken to working with chardonnay from his Calosso vineyard in Piedmont.  Hand-harvested and with native fermentation, the chardonnay expresses the riper fruit spectrum with minimal oak influence.  The wine boasts pineapple and grapefruit with touches of white peach bitter almond, and delicate honey. It artfully plays on the palate with balanced freshness with a clean crisp finish that goes down easy but maintains elegance.

For You If:  You enjoy vivacious, food-friendly, low oak whites and want to taste how it is done with Chardonnay; you enjoy ripe Chardonnay flavors without butter and oak
