Lower ABV Puglia is a hot, hot, place so it’s fitting that Pietraventosa has created a light, crisp, thirst-quenching white from Malvasia Bianca and the local Minutolo grape. Just a hint of something floral over the white and yellow citrus fruit with a nice flinty minerality adding interest on the fine finish. The perfect pairing for fresh seafood, cold pasta salads and that Puglia specilalty, Orecchiette alla Pugliese (orecchiette and broccoli).

For You If:  You’re in the mood for a crisp, easy, not fruity white like Muscadet or Picpoul but with an Italian kick.

Not For You If:  You’re looking for fruity or firm – this is crisp, but gentle, in both structure and flavors.
