Organic/Bio Lower ABV Muscadet is the most under-priced wine in the world for the quality, but even by Muscadet standards, the value for money here is nuts. Fizzing with energy and all kinds of juicy green fruits washed over crushed stones and yeasty lees, it kind of takes your breath away – sort of like a plunge into the cold (and oyster-rich) Atlantic Ocean waters nearby. Mouthwatering, palate-reviving, and shockingly inexpensive for the quality. Antoine Delaunay is up to something special here working with a vineyard planted by his grandfather in Muscadet’s Château-Thebaud district.
For You If: You love stony, minerally, zesty, wines like Albarino, Sancerre, whites from across Italy, etc. and want to try one with even more crisp fruit and mouthwatering intensity; you're having oysters or other shell fish - you just cannot find a better match than this.
Not For You If: You like your whites round, buttery, golden, rich and/or oaked - this is the exact opposite of that, if still chock full of flavor you might just discvoer you enjoy more than you expect!
