Organic/Bio Lower ABV Always one of the more deliciously joyful Cabernet Franc reds from Chinon in the Loire Valley, and especially delicious this year.  Done all in cement and from gravelly soils, this is Chinon at its freshest with pretty redcurrant fruit and a whiff of wild herb adding complexity on top. It feels more round and fleshy than the 12% alcohol suggests and just gets better and better with air. A great all-purpose red!

For You If:   You love the snap, crackle and pop of entry-level Chinon with enough fruit to please a crowd and no sign of Band-Aid brett or bell pepper.

Not For You If:   You’re looking for oak spice – all cement here – or the super-ripe fruit of New World Cab Franc.
