One of California's top Pinot houses reaches up to Oregon's Zena Crown vineyard for a "Warrior Princess" of a wine! Jeb Dunnuck captures it nicely in the 95 point rave, "it’s a youthful ruby hue and is floral and ripe with notes of framboise, red apple, violets, brown spice, and pine. I love this site, which provides a fresh lift and mouthwatering feel through the palate, with ripe tannins and a linear feel. It retains its good ripeness and is going to age gracefully over the next 10 years." Delicious already and sure to improve over the next decade, this has the intensity to handle beef and freshness to sing with salmon.
For You If: You love the mixture of velvet texture and juicy lift that Zena Crown gives ripe, red-fruited, Pinot Noir.
