Lower ABV From the Wairau Bar, a gravel bank at the north tip of Marlborough on Cloudy Bay, this is super fresh and zippy New Zealand Sauvignon Blanc.  It’s loaded with ruby red grapefruit, tart pink grapefruit and laced with hints of wild herb and passionfruit aromas and flavors.  Finishes juicy, herbal and with a bit of refreshing bite. A tiny 2% is aged in barrel, giving an extra layer of texture.

For You If:    You like Marlborough Sauvignon and are looking for one with more red/pink citrus fruit that doesn’t turn peachy or tropical; you like a little bite/grip to clean up all the fruit.

Not For You If:    You’re looking for lots of white grapefruit, grass or tropical flavors – they are more grace notes here; you’re after super soft/gentle Sauvignon – this is more zippy.
