High-end pizza wine from Campania’s top estate and the slopes of Mount Vesuvius. It’s 100% Piedirosso and serves up a bold dose of dusty cherry and crunchy raspberry fruit with layered accents of white pepper, sweet spice and volcanic dust. The balance of fruit and volcanic minerality is perfect and the fine tannins just need some melted cheese and prosciutto (or pepperoni) to release and let the flavors sing out. A blast!

For You If:   You’re looking for a wine that’s built to make your wood-fired Pizza Margherita or Diavola really shine.

Not For You If:   You’re after something with the big cherry fruit and tannins of Chianti/Sangiovese – this is more fresh and not as firm as that.
