Lower ABV A lovely blend of rich texture and vibrant, refreshing, flavors. As Wine Enthusiast said of the 94 point 2019, "This wine brings the notion of a spring mountain meadow to life on the nose. There are hints of chervil and wild thyme aligned to citrus freshness. The palate is vivid, fresh, sinuous, textured and zesty, adding juicy pear and Mirabelle fruit to the herbal savoriness. This is bright and concentrated but also wonderfully light and approachable."
For You If: You're looking for a bit more texture than often found in "entry-level" Gruner Veltliner with no loss of refreshing zip and white pepper complexity.
Not For You If: You're after a wine that shows its wood - this is barrel aged, but you can't taste it - or something that feels lean/crisp.
