South Africa's first black woman winemaker, Ntsiki Biyela is even better known for the benchmark quality of her wines - like this delicious Chardonnay.  The texture is lovely, at once dense/rich in feel and vibrantly fresh. Aromas and flavors of pineapple, pear and green apple are perfectly matched by a touch of oak toast and vanilla and hint of creamy butter. A compelling solo sipper, but do try it with creamy seafood and roasted poultry, too!

For You If:   You're after Chardonnay that feels and tastes luxurious and a decisively under "luxury" price; you enjoy Chard where the fruit takes center stage and oak and butter are subtle accents.

Not For You If:   You're after the crisp minerality of an all-steel Chardonnay or any hint of sweetness - this is delightfully dry.
