If rich, deep, dark and dusky Italian reds with plenty of energy and fine, easy, tannins are your thing, then you're going to "Luv" this!  It's from one of the winery's original vineyards and 65 year-old vines, which give it more concentration than you might expect from this juicy, soft, grape. Time in large oak adds structure and spice without getting in the way of the flowing, black cherry, fruit on the finish. Exciting with rich food like lasagna and beef/mushroom ragu but still easy to just sip, appreciate and "Luv"!

For You If:   You like the silky feel of low-tanning Barbera with extra depth and darkness; you like "big" wines that don't grip/grasp on the finish.

Not For You If:   You're in the mood for something fresh and light - this is more about darkness and power.
