Organic/Bio Carol Shelton is best known for her Zinfandel but this is NOT white Zin! It's 75% Carignane, 20% Zinfandel plus Barbera + Viognier bled off a red wine ferment after two days and fermented all the way dry in steel. It tastes like you filled up a pillow case with super-ripe strawberries and four sprigs of rosemary and then bashed it all around a bit. It has the size of a chillable red and the fresh fruit and DRY finish of a classic rose. A "wild thing" indeed!
For You If: You're in the mood for rose freshness and red wine body - the perfect pink wine to enjoy at a cookout!
Not For You If: You're looking for light/delicate - this is robust and flavorful; you're after White Zinfandel - this is "real" dry rose.
