A rare "no sulfur added" wine in the shop, one we've tasted enough times now to strongly recommend! Semillon and Sauvignon Blanc with plenty of lees contact to create a wine with real textural richness balanced by vivid stone fruit, citrus, and fresh herb aromas and flavors. There's a stony, almost steely, mouthfeel here and the flavors go from restrained at first to expansive and very deep on a flowing, chakly, finish. Remarkably good white Graves.
For You If: You'd like to try a "natural" wine that really tastes good!; you enjoy the complex non-fruit flavors of Semillon without any oak getting in the way; you're looking for a very sophisticated seafood pairing.
Not For You If: You like your Sauvignon/Semillon blends to burst with deep fruit - this is a bit more restrained; you're after more overt wood flavors on your white.
