Organic/Bio Lower ABV “Affordable Swiss wine” isn’t normally a thing even in Switzerland, much less the USA. Adding one more reason to try this high texture, low fruit, gloriously refreshing Chasselas with or without fondue and/or raclette. Delicate white apple and stone fruit flavors ride under top notes of blossom and mountain herb with mouthcoating texture and fine minerality at a modest 12.0% alcohol. Delicious après ski or hike and, of course, with strong, melty, cheese.
For You If: You love the aromas and flavors of high mountain meadows; texture without weight appeals; you love Muscadet, Savoie whites, etc.; you got told to bring something Swiss to dinner and want to actually afford and enjoy your choice; you are thirsty.
Not For You If: You’re after the boisterous fruit of Sauvignon Blanc or the buttery/oaky notes of New World Chardonnay.
