Organic/Bio Year-in, year-out, one of our very favorite Rosso di Montalcinos comes from this all-woman winery that add's a touch of grace to Sangiovese Grosso's raw, intense, power and heft. A really good Rosso di Montalcino shouldn't be "declassified Brunello" - it should be its own thing for its own purposes. Which is what we have here from soils and with farming specifically chosen to give more flavor early and immediately appealing structure. A really lovely, pure, interpretation to enjoy over the next decade.
