This 15 acre vineyard was planted in 2001 and purchased by Joe and Pat Campbell in 2009 where they built a home – and a clay tennis court. The east-facing Pommard and Dijon 115 vines give a terrific blend of rich red fruit and freshness and aging in around 30% new oak adds a touch of Mexican chocolate character to the ripe strawberry and tangy orange fruit. Feels lush and round and tastes great, too.
For You If: You love the blend of ripe, rich, fruit and easygoing freshness Chehalem Mountain Pinots deliver.
Not For You If: You’re looking for extremely light or highly mineral Pinot.
"Delicious sweet red berry fruit to this pinot with notes of strawberries, cinnamon stick, red tea, cherries and chocolate orange. It’s medium-bodied with supple tannins and a juicy, caressing finish."
