This is all Pinot Meunier from very old vines growing on clay-limestone soils, mainly vintage 2017 plus reserves and finished "Brut Nature" (no sugar added). It smells a touch smoky and toasty with notes of red and white cherry that blossom into fleshy stone fruit on the palate. Notes of buttered hazelnut and sliced mushroom add even more complexity. The combination of density and purity are super satisfying. Try it with an aged cheese flecked with salt crystals or duck!
