Lower ABV Our staff winemaker, Jacquelyn, introduced us to this gem based on her time in Portugal. From a pioneering producer in the Bairrada region, it’s an unoaked blend of Bical, Sercialinho and Cerceal. Steely, loaded with chalky/salty minerality, and bone dry, the tart lime and Granny Smith apple fruit refreshes through a very long, driving, finish. Like a very intense Muscadet, this will shine with seafood but is certainly sippable, too.
For You If: You like dry, minerally, wines like Muscadet, dry Riesling and Chablis; you’re looking for a beautiful match for shellfish and simple fish dishes.
Not For You If: You’re after a lot of fruit or something soft/smooth – this is racy and salty mineral.
