Lower ABV Greece’s Peloponnese is a hotbed of native grapes not found elsewhere in the world – like the 100% Limniona in this bottle!  The grape gives wine with lots of color, perfume and tannin, although careful farming here moderates the grip. Generous bursts of ripe black cherry and raspberry fruit are accented by notes of underbrush in the middle and a gentle cranberry pop on the finely firm finish. Full of fruit and fun especially with a big spread of Greek lamb, olives and other dishes!

For You If:   You’re looking for an authentic Greek red that even American wine drinkers will find easy to appreciate; you want a solid mouthful of ripe fruit flavors with just a tiny hint of something savory underneath.

Not For You If:   You want something full-bodied/fleshy or showing oak – this is done in tank and delivers its mouthfilling flavors in a medium-bodied frame.
