Lower ABV A rare Greek grape found mainly on the Ionian island of Cephalonia turns out a terrific seafood wine – as you’d expect! There’s a nice core of peach, orange and lime fruit with inviting accents of dried oregano and tarragon. Finishes with a touch of grip and stony minerality and generous length. Think Muscadet with more fruit or Albarino with a touch of herbal complexity and you’ll be in the ballpark. Delicious.
For You If: Certainly if you enjoy Albarino or Muscadet and similar seafood-friendly whites; you’re in the mood for a refreshing white for food that also delivers easy solo sipping.
Not For You If: You’re in the mood to have your fresh, un-oaked, white deliver lots of zip and zing – this is nicely balanced, open and easy.
