Lower ABV Yes, it’s from Virginia and made from 100% Lemberger (aka Austria’s Blaufrankisch) grapes, but as cool as that is, it’s not why this is on the rosé rack. The wine’s crazy delicious! Wild strawberry and tart cherry fruit make up the core, with wild and compelling accents of jasmine, orange blossom and more weaving in and out. Finishes bone dry and fresh (just 11.8%) with the tangy fruit and a hint of rhubarb lingering nicely. Cool AND good and highly recommended!
For You If: Mainly because you like crisp, fresh, mouthwatering rosé wines and are ready for a change-up from Provence’s peachy/watermelon profile; you want to be the cool kid who brings pink Virginia Lemberger to a party – no one else will!
Not For You If: Well, if you don’t like rosé then this won’t tick your tock – everyone else should dive right in!
