Organic/Bio From Vilobí del Penedès in the heart of Alt Penedès, this is just terrific sparkling wine. It’s 55% Xarello, 30% Macabeo, 15% Parellada made with the Champagne method and delivers clear-as-a-bell flavors of ripe apple, grated ginger, and hints of soft herbs. Finely fizzy and bone dry through the long, lightly toasty, finish. Exceptional quality for money here.

For You If:    You enjoy bubbles often enough to want high quality at a more everyday price point; you don’t enjoy bubbles often enough, but think you should; you’re looking for something at Prosecco price point with more toast and class.

Not For You If:   You want the flavors of Champagne – there’s Champagne texture and quality here, but these Spanish grapes have their own flavor story to tell.
