Unusually for better Brunello estates, San Lorenzo is in the southwest of the zone, farming organically and making Brunello traditionally with 2 years in 30HL casks.  In 2018, it delivers the ripeness of its warm sites with atrractive freshness. As Wine Enthusiast (94 points) says, “leans into the savory, as emergent earthy and metallic notes bring heat and freshness, which are emphasized by polished tannins, while a lingering berry undertone preserves balance.”
