As Wine Enthusiast said of the 2019, "This wine is a testament to what happens when you match fruit from a great vineyard with a skilled winemaking hand." In some ways, the most distinctive vineyard in the Eola Hills, always giving fine ripeness married to savory tobacco and earth notes. Mark Vlossak captures it perfectly! Dark red fruit, inscense, sage and a lift of blood orange swirl across your palate until firm, fine, tannins grip gently. Better in 2028 but delicious now.
For You If: You enjoy a savory element in your ripe Willamette Valley Pinot fruit.
Not ForYou If: You're looking for something soft - this is hardly austere, but closes with a definite grip that will be perfect with salmon or duck!
