Considerably more than the “Bourgogne Rouge” Mark Vlossak had in mind when he first created this wine! In 2022 it’s a blend of fruit from Shea, Temperance Hill and Freedom Hill (Willamette Valley elite!) with 12 months in French oak. Lovely fruit, lots of earth and spice, and silky-firm tannins that clench a bit then release to let the ripe strawberry/cherry fruit flow on beautifully. Ready now – 2028+. Bravo!
