Lustau’s “Alamacenista” wines are sherries made by small producers bottled and marketed by Lustau. Here Sr. Obregon took white Palamino grapes and aged them first with and then without floor by the sea. It’s wildly complex stuff, with sour and blood orange, toasted nuts, spice cake, ginger, dried date…the list goes on. Very slightly sweet at the end, but drinks dry. Try with garlic shrimp, cheese, cured meats, salted almonds, etc.
