Organic/Bio Lower ABV As always, one of the best values in top-notch Willamette Valley Chardonnay. It's from vines planted 1977-1999 on the estate, picked ripe and fresh (13.1% abv), and fermented and aged in French oak. Definitely more vibrant than rich and very satisfying. As Wine Spectator says in the 92 point review, it's somehow both "Plush and sleek, with a vibrant core of green apple, lemon curd and cinnamon flavors that glide on the steely finish."
For You If: You love a Burgundian feel with New World fruit in your Chardonnay.
Not For You If: You're after either California-levels of body or something austere - this is fresh and steely but not austere or hard.
