A delightfully plump and easy Grenache/Syrah blend from this value-oriented Chateauneuf du Pape estate. Done all in tank, the fruit comes first here with enough earthy complexity to hold your interest.  As Wine Spectator said of the last bottling, "A supple, crowd-pleasing red, with red currant, raspberry and licorice flavors that are open-knit and enticing. Reveals white pepper and sandalwood that add intrigue on the fresh palate, with a kiss of salt."

For You If:   You're after a nice value, medium-bodied, burger/pizza/pasta red that's enjoyable solo, too.

Not For You If:    You're after the big body and palate-impact of Chateauneuf - this is round, fleshy, easy.
