Even in hot vintages like 2020, this wine delivers wonderful purity and finesse.  As Wine Advocate says in the 93 point review, "Elegant and precise, the Cantina del Pino 2020 Barbaresco brings lots of freshness and a charming view of young Nebbiolo fruit. This vintage tends to be more accessible overall, but you are nonetheless awarded with the subtle nuances and complexity that characterize this variety. There is tart cassis, violet and earthy licorice root." Perhaps best over the next decade or so, but that just means you get all the pleasure without the wait!
