A juicy, fruit-filled, fun red for parties, sipping, cookouts, whatever. It's from Alentejo,Portugal,and blends Aragonez (35%), Trincadeira (20%), Alicante Bouschet (20%), Syrah (15%) and Castelão, all fermented and aged in tank. A hint of black tea savoriness complements the bold blackberry fruit and the chalky tannins give just enough support to leave you feeling refreshed. Very nice value for money here.

For You If:  You're looking for the kind of rich fruit delivered by New World red blends without any oak or other make-up - just direct, nearly gushing, fruit and a lick of structure to hold things together here.

Not For You If:   You're after something sweet - this is fruit-filled, but dry - or showing oak spice - all tank here.
