Just outside Saint Emilion, this blend of Merlot plus a splash of Cabernet delivers a classic Right Bank drinking experience plus the benefit of bottle age. Lovely redcurrant, cherry and fresh blackberry fruit is wrapped in savory notes of lavender, bay leaf and cured tobacco. The tannins are more than firm enough for steak or lamb, but the wine stays supple and fruit prominent from first to last.
For You If: You’re looking for ready-to-drink Bordeaux with classic style and old-school pricing – meaning a good value price!
