No subscription required! We’ll announce the next Champagne Club release on the first Monday of each month. Just get your order in that week and we’ll have it ready for you at the monthly release mid-month. You cost will vary by month and will always be at least 10% less than the retail price of the featured selections. For the initial release, the As You Go price will be $169.98. Laborde Champagne Les Beaux Lieux 2019 – Leveraging her experience at Bollinger and Veuve Clicquot, and a family wingrowing tradition dating back to 1789, Delphine Laborde is crafting beautiful and intense Champagnes from this hill of Nogent l’Abbesse just east of Reims. From a small plot looking down on Reims, this 100% Chardonnay delivers a perfect blend of Chardonnay fruit, toast and ginger. Just 117 cases made.
Fresne Ducret Pierre & Prosper 1er Cru – Pierre Fresne’s top wine honors his grandfather, founder of the estate. It’s 95% 2010 from 60% Chardonnay and 20% each Pinot Noir and Meunier with 20% aged in barrel, resting sur latte for 12 years under natural cork (instead of crown cap) and riddled and disgorged by hand. Nutty, toasty, full of lemon curd, fresh apple and smoke aromas and flavors, this is long, pure and very seriously delicious.
The retail value of these two handcrafted Champagnes is $190, making this a fine bargain for very fine Champagne!
