A sexy, luxurious, wine that will bowl you over with complexity and richness. It’s 100% Garnacha Blanca and opens with wild aromas of Mediterranean herbs, spice, wet stones and a bit of citrus zest. On the palate it’s rich and enveloping with layered flavors of tangerine, pineapple, under-ripe white peach, wild herb and a touch of salty minerality.  The finish is very long and soft with a gentle squeeze of tannin amping up the lingering flavors. This will be lovely with roasted birds or anything enrobed in cream sauce.  And just by itself, too!

For You If:   You’re a fan of textured whites from places like Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc or France’s Northern Rhone Valley and/or Rhone varietal whites from California; you enjoy wines that feel big and rich without distracting oak.

Not For You If:   You’re looking for something sharp and snappy – this is rich, round, smooth and quite soft, although still balanced and nicely fresh.
