D’Arenberg made the reputation of Australia’s GSM blend with the wine that used to be sold as “Burgundy” and is now labeled “d’Arenberg’s Origional.” The Stump Jump line gives you a taste of that juicy – not very Burgundy-like – character in a blend of 70% Grenache plus Syrah and Mourvedre all from 50 year-old vines. Raspberry, plum and dark cherry fruit with just a touch of earthy complexity and a silky-smooth, burger and sipping-friendly, finish.
For You If: You enjoy fruit-filled Cotes du Rhone reds and are looking to try that style with a bigger does of juicy ripe fruit; you’re after a red blend with loads of fruit that still finishes dry and easy.
Not For You If: You’re after the last word in complexity – this is a tasty, direct, easy-drinking cookout and party red.
