Lots of 90 point praise for this classic white Rhone blend of Grenache, Clairette, and Bourboulenc from a fine Chateauneuf du Pape estate. There's excellent texture here along with enough freshness to keep you coming back for more. As Wine Advocate says, it's "a super buy this vintage. Loaded with floral, honeyed-pear fruit, this medium to full-bodied effort is plump, round and lush. It's appealing and delicious." And that was before our sale discounts!
For You If: You enjoy the richness and pithy grip of a white Rhone while still wanting a clean, mouthwatering, finish; you're looking for a white with enough body and stuffing to satisfy on a cold winter's night.
Not For You If: You prefer your white Rhone's to showcase Viognier's peachy/floral perfume - this has more subtle fruit and leans more into "mineral" than "fruity."
